National Siblings Day is Wednesday, April 10. With two younger brothers and one younger sister, I certainly will acknowledge the day on social media, probably with a 1980s group picture my parents had taken.
Celebrating on a much grander scale, NYCasinos.com took a break from covering the issues related to downstate and online New York casinos to look into the most famous sibling-athletes in sports, with the top 10 listed below.
Most Iconic Sibling Athletes
The Kelce Brothers Top the List
Using Semrush total combined search volume between Feb. 28-March 28, 2024, we found that the NFL brothers, Travis Kelce and the recently retired Jason Kelce, are the most famous with a search volume of 4,400,000. The Kelce Brothers have a widely popular podcast called New Heights to talk about on-and-off the field stories and happenings in their daily lives and incorporating many family members and guests to participate.
Basketball’s Giannis, Thanasis, Kostas & Alex Antetokounmpo are second on the list with a search volume of 1,091,600.
Bringing it a bit closer to New York, the quarterback brother tandem of Peyton and Eli Manning finished seventh on the list at 381,000. Peyton founded Omaha Productions, which produces the Manningcast, an alternate live television broadcast of ESPN's Monday Night Football. He hosts it hosted with his younger brother Eli, the longtime New York Giants quarterback.
Also in the top five: NFL head coaches Jim and John Harbaugh (808,000) at No. 3, basketball brothers Steph and Seth Curry (690,000) at No. 4 and the four sons of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders: Shedeur, Shelomi, Deion Jr., & Shilo Sanders (648,000).
The only sister duo listed, coming in at No. 6, was tennis stars Serena and Venus Williams (533,000).
NYCasinos.com occasional strays from following NY casino apps to look at stories of cultural interest.
